week of january 19

ok. so my post titles could use a little work. and we didn’t have school monday so there’s no card for that day…

tuesday: i really don’t like this card.  i think i need to work on my “combining multiple pattered paper” skills. well, they aren’t all winners and that’s ok.

wednesday: i finally figured out how to use my quickutz die (that i won) on my (vintage) sizzix original. this is a just a piece of the baroque flourish. i used it on a page from an old thesaurus.

thursday: this is big for a lunch note. (i knew it was big but when my daughter came home from school she said, “that lunch note was HUGE.”) it’s actually about 4.25 x 4.5. and it’s mathy because it was the day they took the short-cycle assessment for math. not that there was any calculus involved…it’s only 5th grade.

friday: more maps! and a giant “S”! and that edge punch! (the inside is pretty clever because it reads, “Keep up the great work and you’ll go far!” yep. i’m super witty.)
